Database Search Tips for Better Results
Use Boolean operators ... simple words that are used to combine or exclude in a search, either to expand or narrow results. Examples: AND, OR, NOT
- Flora AND Fauna searches for both words (narrows search)
- Flora OR Fauna searches for one or all, but both is optional (expands search)
- Flora NOT Fauna searches for the first word, Flora and excludes sources with the word Fauna (narrows search)
