Database Search Tips for Better Results
Use Boolean operators ... simple words that are used to combine or exclude in a search, either to expand or narrow results. Examples: AND, OR, NOT
- Displaced AND Refugee searches for both words (narrows search)
- Refugee OR Migrant searches for one or all, but both is optional (expands search)
- Migration NOT Climate searches for the first word, Migration and excludes sources with the word Climate (narrows search)
