Databases contain collections of general and subject-specific areas. You may also narrow or expand search results by selecting source types (ie newspapers, journals), dates, article type (ie reviews, articles), and so on in the filters provided. Most databases allow sources to be saved in MLA format, emailed, and saved to your Google Docs.
Database Search Tips for Better Results
Use Boolean operators ... simple words that are used to combine or exclude in a search, either to expand or narrow results. Examples: AND, OR, NOT

- Equality OR Women searches for one or all, but both is optional (expands search)
